The Fazeli Research Group
I studied Veterinary Medicine in Murcia (Spain). I obtained my European Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree in January 2008 at the University of Murcia, in the Department of Medicine and Animal Surgery in 2008. During my PhD I worked on optimizing of in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure in porcine. I was a Marie Curie Research Fellow in the University of Sheffield under supervision of Dr Alireza Fazeli. I moved to Sheffield in search of key factor involved in embryo development and maternal communication with embryo through Genomics and proteomics technologies. My project aims to identify the local molecular factors produced in the reproductive tract in response to developing embryo. Currently I work as a U-IMPACT Marie Curie Research Fellow at the University of Murcia.
